BrainTune (“the App”) plays binaural beats—slightly different pure tones to each ear—to support focus, relaxation, meditation, and sleep preparation. This policy explains how the App handles information related to you.
The current version does not require sign-up or sign-in and does not send account-style identifiers (name, phone, email, etc.) to our servers to identify you.
The App generates and plays audio on your device in real time. To support background playback and lock-screen / notification media controls, after you grant permission the App may:
Processing stays on-device. The current version does not upload your recordings, playback content, or audio files to our servers.

This data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers by default. Uninstalling the App typically removes sandbox data.
Core features work without a network connection. If you open external reference links in the in-app guide, the App or system browser loads third-party sites (usually over HTTPS) at your request. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
The current version does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs or default analytics that upload your usage to third parties. If we add crash reporting, analytics, or cloud services later, we will update this policy and notify you when changes are material.
The App is a wellness aid, not a medical device. Do not use while driving or operating machinery. Avoid use if you have epilepsy, are pregnant, or take psychoactive medication. See in-app safety notices.
The App is not intended to collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 for marketing. Guardians should supervise minors.
We may revise this policy. Updates will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated in the App or by other reasonable means.
